Thank you for your interest in an enrolment at Carine Primary School.

We are a school that always welcomes new students, however due to the high demand for places at the school the Department of Education has designated Carine Primary School as a local intake area school and priority of enrolment is given to children who reside within the boundaries of this school. Cross boundary admission will only occur if there are places available.

Please read the information contained on this page carefully. It will outline the process for enrolment as well as provide some information which may help you determine whether Carine PS is the best for your family.

APPLICATIONS FOR ENROLMENT

Application for Enrolment in a WA Public school form – Primary

Student Health Care Summary Form

 

When submitting your application will be asked to provide:

  • your child’s birth certificate (original or certified copy)
  • your child’s immunisation records from the Australian Immunisation Register (1800 653 809), must be dated within two months of the application’s submission
  • proof of your child’s usual place of residence e.g a lease agreement of at least 6 months, proof of ownership of a property such as gas, water or electrical account dated within the last 2 months
  • Information relating to suspensions
  • Information relating to health or medical condition, disability or additional needs (if applicable)
  • copies of Family Court or other court orders (if applicable)
  • if your child is not a permanent resident of Australia, you must provide evidence of current visa subclass and previous visa subclass if current visa is a bridging visa

Note: In the event that statements made in an application later prove to be false or misleading the application may be declined. Information supplied may need to be checked by the school.

  • We are not taking enrolments for 2026 if you do not live within our intake area.

 

 

KINDERGARTEN APPLICATIONS FOR ENROLMENT
  • You can only apply for a Kindergarten place at one school. If there are more Kindergarten applications than places available, the principal will apply our enrolment priorities to your enrolment application. 
  • Your child’s Kindergarten enrolment ceases at the end of their Kindergarten year. Pre-primary is a new application for enrolment.

Immunisation requirements for Kindergarten

Your child can only go to Kindergarten when they meet Western Australia’s immunisation requirements. This helps to better protect our children and community from vaccine-preventable diseases. The same immunisation requirements apply to Kindergarten at a school, a community kindergarten and a childcare service.
